World Refrigeration Day is an international awareness campaign established by the World Refrigeration Day Secretariat to raise the profile of the refrigeration, airconditioning, and heat-pump sector and focuses attention on the significant role that the industry and its technology play in modern life and society. It draws attention to the wonderful engineering and science that is all around us every day. Refrigeration is at the very heart of modern life. It enables people to live, travel, and work comfortably. It saves lives. It enables people to achieve.
 
In conjunction with World Refrigeration Day, ASHRAE UniKL MFI Student Branch is organizing a Refrigeration System Design Competition 2024 with support from ASHRAE Malaysia Chapter.

Welcoming speech was given by YBhg. Dr Badli Shah Mohd Yusoff , Dean / Head of Campus, UNIKL MFI and followed by Opening Speech by Department Of Environment represented by Mr. Ryan Ooi Chean Weai Senior Principal Assistant Director of Air Division, Department of Environment. 

The Appreciation Award Presentation by the ASHRAE Malaysia Chapter, along with the Souvenir Presentation for all sponsors, was expertly managed by Mr. Tee Tone Vei, President of the ASHRAE Malaysia Chapter.

The seminar was packed with information, featuring expert speakers in their respective fields:

The CULMI brand of Condenser Tube Cleaning Machine was selected by Institut Kemahiran Belia Negara (IKBN) Naka Kedah as their preferred choice of brand for product training in their vocational education program.

A comprehensive one-day product training session was conducted on May 13, 2025, for IKBN teachers, receiving positive feedback and concluding with a certificate issuance ceremony.

峇眼拿督华夏华文小学于2025年4月27日，在校园礼堂迎来一场意义非凡的励志讲座。此次活动主题为*“今天的努力，就是未来的选择权”* ，特邀两位杰出校友——马福兴荣誉博士与吴美丝教授医生回到母校，以真挚分享点燃学生的信念之火，现场气氛感人而热烈。
 
一位企业家：从甘榜走向国际舞台
 
马福兴博士，现任高密冷气与冷藏零件有限公司董事经理，拥有超过二十年企业与环保领域的深厚经验。他曾担任马来西亚空调与冷冻协会（MACRA）副会长，长期参与国家环保计划如NCFCP与HPMP，也荣获Charisma University荣誉博士学位与马六甲州元首P.J.K.勋章，目前担任NEWPAGES品牌成功大使。
 
他以“甘榜男孩成为企业家”为题，娓娓道来自己从小镇成长、创业奋斗，到积极参与慈善与教育事业的过程。他强调“选择、机会、变化（3C）”是人生的关键力量，并鼓励学生：“今天的努力，就是明天掌握选择权的资本。只要你勇敢去做，世界就会为你让路。”
 
讲座尾声，他更自弹自唱《雪落下的声音》，展现了多才多艺的一面，为现场注入温柔而有力的情感，掌声经久不息。
 
一位医学专家：从校园走向世界医学舞台
 
同台分享的还有另一位耀眼校友——吴美丝教授医生，现为马来西亚国立大学（UKM）医学系教授及小儿耳鼻喉头颈外科主任。她曾赴美国辛辛那提儿童医学中心及英国大奥蒙德街医院深造，是国际公认的人工耳蜗植入与小儿气道疾病专家，发表论文逾150篇，并担任多个国际专业组织要职。
 
吴教授温柔地回忆自己于1977至1982年就读华夏小学的时光，特别感谢当年启发她的老师——也亲临现场的叶长信老师，以及一路支持她的家人。她与学生们分享医学之路的艰辛与坚持，诚恳表示：“学习的过程可能辛苦，但坚持是最酷的。有一分耕耘，就有一分收获。”
 
她用亲身经历告诉孩子们：从小地方也可以迈向世界的舞台，只要心中有光、脚步不止。
 
母校的骄傲，孩子们的榜样
 
两位校友的回归，不只是荣耀的见证，更是一种深刻的传承。他们用自身的成长轨迹，让学生明白梦想不是遥不可及的想象，而是一步一脚印的努力与坚持。

Kamarul Hisham B Hj Yeop Hashim (Ahli Majlis Zon 4 MBSJ), pegawai-pegawai yang terlibat, dan wakil seratus orang dari Komuniti USJ 1 yang terdiri daripada pemilik perusahaan, pekerja syarikat, dan lain-lain yang ingin menyuarakan perasaan serta pandangan mereka berkaitan pelaksanaan Zon Letak Kereta Berbayar (MBSJ) di USJ 1 Taman Perindustrian Subang Jaya.

1) USJ 1 Taman Perindustrian Subang Jaya merupakan kawasan industri yang seharusnya tidak mengenakan kutipan pembayaran untuk letak kenderaan.

2) Kawasan ini menempatkan lebih daripada empat ratus syarikat yang beroperasi, termasuk Ah Cheng Laksa, yang telah memberikan sumbangan kepada KDNK negara dengan catatan yang signifikan setiap tahun. Dari segi ini sepatutnya Kerajaan Selangor boleh memberi keistimewaan keatas ketidaknya kutipan pembayaran letak kenderaan dan juga pertimbangan pandangan keatas cukai-cukai yang perlu ditanggung, seperti a) Bil Cukai Taksiran (Cukai Pintu), b) Cukai Tanah dan C) Lesen Perniaggaan yang telah membebankan syarikat-syarikat berada di Taman Perindustrian USJ 1 Subang Jaya.

3) Bebanan bayaran RM80.00 setiap bulan oleh pekerja di kawasan ini untuk kenderaan mereka adalah satu perbelanjaan yang tidak sepatutnya dan akan memaksa mereka mempertimbangkan untuk mencari pekerjaan di tempat lain yang menawarkan keadaan yang lebih selesa. Hal ini akan mengakibatkan syarikat-syarikat di sini menghadapi kesukaran dalam mencari pengganti atau menambah bilangan pekerja.

4) Sekiranya syarikat-syarikat majikan di sini terpaksa membuat keputusan untuk mengekalkan pekerja mereka, akhirnya mereka akan menanggung beban yang tak sepatutnya setiap bulan dengan kiraan tertera di bawah:

A) RM80.00 X 5 pekerja = RM400.00 setiap bulan (RM4,800.00 setiap tahun)

B) RM80.00 X 10 pekerja = RM800.00 setiap bulan (RM9,600.00 setiap tahun)

C) RM80.00 X 20 pekerja = RM1,600.00 setiap bulan (RM19,200.00 setiap tahun)

Kami berharap permohonan untuk berdialog berkenaan Zon Letak Kereta Berbayar (MBSJ) di USJ 1 Taman Perindustrian Subang Jaya dengan cadangan untuk dimansuhkan ini dapat memperoleh persetujuan daripada Y.B. Puan Michelle Ng Mei Sze dan Tuan Ar. Kamarul Hisham B Hj Yeop Hashim, agar perbincangan bersama komuniti USJ 1 Taman Perindustrian Subang Jaya dapat dilaksanakan dalam tempoh yang sesingkat mungkin. Kita berjanji dialog ini akan diadakan dalam suasana yang aman damai.

HELP University, a prestigious international institution, organized the 2025 Chinese New Year Open House on 10-2-2025 (Monday, 初十三). The event welcomed over 400 distinguished guests, including prominent businesspeople, educators, celebrities, politicians, and key association figures.

Professor Datuk Paul Chan, Chancellor and Co-Founder of HELP University, delivered a captivating welcoming speech, setting the tone for this remarkable and well-coordinated gathering.

I am proud to be pursuing my PhD in the Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) program at HELP University through APEL.Q, with the convocation anticipated in April 2026.

国际知名学府精英大学于2025年2月10日（月初十三）举办了2025年农历新年开放日。此次活动迎来了 400 多位贵宾，其中包括著名商人、教育家、名人、政治家和重要协会人物。

The 2025 Chinese New Year Charity Night hosted by BLN Group was packed with activities mooted by Dato' Kenny You (Director of Bio Life Neutraceuticals Sdn Bhd) with consecutive 6 years of organizing such meaningful talk of the town event. 
 
Selangor royal family members, Y.M. Tengku Dato' Dr. Hishammuddin Zaizi bin Y.A.M Tengku Bendahara Azman Shah Alhaj was the guest of honor to open this prestigious charity night, which was held on 8-2-2025.
 
As a person who is always looking forward to doing something for society, I made a contribution to support this charity night as well.
Three YB were invited as VVIPs and gave away their Chinese New Year speeches.
 
Charity organizations, schools, old folks homes, and orphanage homes were among the bodies that participated in this event.
Prominent public business figures and celebrities attended this event as well.

PERTUBUHAN PENG AN KEONG, JALAN PASAR 36100 BAGAN DATOH PERAK, FUNDRAISING FOR BUILDING TEMPLE AND PRIMARY SCHOOL CONTRIBUTION ON 31-1-2025 (3RD DAY OF CNY).

In total, 1,200 people attended this fundraising dinner. As part of my social responsibility, I donated a total of RM15,500.00, including three (3) DAIKIN Wall Mounted Air-Cond units to my Primary School and the Temple.

马福兴荣誉博士，是已故马德水先生的第三子，其父亲曾经营万兴栈杂货店。马福兴博士从事空调冷气行业多年，凭借其专业知识和辛勤付出，取得了卓越成就。他于1982年随家人迁居吉隆坡求学，并在吉隆坡扎根发展，逐步奠定了事业的辉煌基础。
 
多年来，马福兴博士积极参与公会、协会及各类社会和社团活动，为社会发展作出了卓越贡献。由于其不懈努力及无私奉献，他获得马六甲州元首阁下授予的P.J.K.服务有功勋衔，以表彰其对社会的卓越贡献。除此之外，马博士在商业领域也非常活跃，他善于利用网络分享专业知识与行业经验，受到广泛认可，因此被委任为NEWPAGES品牌成功大使。

(Dr.) Beh Hock Heng is the third son of the late Mr. Beh Teik Moh. His father once ran万兴栈 a grocery store. (Dr.) Beh has been engaged in the air-conditioning and air-conditioning industry for many years and has achieved outstanding achievements with his professional knowledge and hard work. In 1982, he moved to Kuala Lumpur with his family to study and took root in Kuala Lumpur, gradually laying the foundation for a brilliant career.
 
Over the years, (Dr.) Beh has actively participated in trade unions, associations, and various social and community activities, making outstanding contributions to social development. Due to his unremitting efforts and selfless dedication, he was awarded the P.J.K. Meritorious Service Award by His Excellency the TYT of Malacca in recognition of his outstanding contributions to society. In addition, (Dr.) Beh is also very active in the business field. He is good at using the Internet WEBSITE to share professional knowledge and industry experience and is widely recognized. Therefore, he was appointed as the NEWPAGES brand success ambassador.
 
Adhering to the concept of lifelong learning, (Dr.) Beh always maintains a mentality of continuous progress. Not only does he hold an honorary doctorate, he also takes the initiative to challenge himself. He is currently studying for a doctorate and is committed to improving his academic and professional standards. His achievements in leaving home have been highly praised, not only as a personal success but also as a pride and role model for the children of Bagan Datuk.
 
Today, with his love for education and gratitude to society, (Dr.) Beh gave back to his alma mater, SJK (C) Hua Hsia Primary School, by donating three two-horsepower DAIKIN wall-mounted air conditioners with a total value of RM7,500.00, including a cash donation of RM4,500.00. This kind act not only provided important support for the improvement of the school's environment but also reflected his spirit of caring about education and caring for society.
 
Here, on behalf of all teachers, students, and the school, we would like to express our highest gratitude to (Dr.) Beh! His generosity and selfless dedication not only warmed the campus but also inspired countless students to work hard. He hopes that more enthusiastic people can follow his example, contribute to education, and jointly create a better learning environment for children's future.
